Lowell Erdahl Peace Scholarship

We invite applications for this peace-building opportunity, which is generously funded by the Lowell Erdahl family, as well as friends, families, and donors continuing to honor the legacy of a remarkable peacemaker. We are offering 10 scholarships each up to $250 to empower WCP Peace Ambassadors to turn their visions of a more peaceful and just world into reality.

Only World Citizen Peace Ambassadors or registered World Citizen Peace Sites may apply for the Erdahl Peace Scholarship (EPS).  If you are not yet registered, please do. Remember, being a Peace Ambassador is free!

This round of applications ends on March 15, 2024, at 11:59 PM CST. World Citizen Peace leadership will then review applications and select those that best transform our mission into action and have the greatest impact.

EPS funding can be provided to scholarship winners prior to the project or event.

Within one month after the conclusion of the project or event, you will need to provide WCP a 500-800 word final report and pictures when appropriate. The report will summarize and show the project and event as well as tell a story about its impact.

Scholarship recipients will be announced on April 1, 2024.

Your project must be completed by October 1, 2024.

Please note that the EPS will NOT cover salaries. It will cover costs related to logistics, materials, some travel, educational materials, speaker honorariums, and similar items. By accepting an EPS, recipients agree to let WCP use any and all parts of the application and final report.
