The mission of the World Citizen Peace Ambassador Center is to Empower People to Create a Just and Peaceful World. We achieve this by living, working, being and sharing the Five Peace Actions.
World Citizen Peace Ambassador Center is cared for and operated by The Peace Pad, LLC through a hybrid governance.
The Peace Pad was founded by Julie Lillie, who is dedicated to co-creating peaceful people and projects. All of The Peace Pad’s consulting and content is aligned with our Five Peace Actions. World Citizen shares Julie’s belief that peace education is for everyone – at all ages and stages of life!
Julie is co-author of Empowering Peace and Justice Education: An Actionable Framework for Elementary Educators and Learners, which centers the Five Peace Actions!
The Peace Pad provides professional, administrative and programmatic services to World Citizen Peace Ambassador Center, with expertise in educational consulting, grant writing, learning design, video production, program development, web development and communications. World Citizen provides a nonprofit structure to deliver community-based resources, programming, training, and peace education initiatives globally. Julie serves on the Board of Directors and as acting Director of World Citizen Peace Ambassador Center.
