World Citizen Peace Ambassador Center is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors who share a deep commitment to advancing peace, justice, and global citizenship in communities and schools. Together, they provide strategic leadership, steward our mission, and help ensure the legacy and future impact of World Citizen Peace Ambassadors and our peace education initiatives.

Julie Lillie is the acting Director and a Board Member of the World Citizen Peace Ambassador Center. She is also the founder of The Peace Pad, LLC an educational consultancy which cares for and operates World Citizen through its hybrid governance. Julie is dedicated to advancing peace and justice education across all ages! She co-authored Empowering Peace and Justice Education: An Actionable Framework for Elementary Educators and Learners, which anchors the ‘Five Peace Actions’. Julie also brings over 19 years of experience in teaching, coaching, and leadership. As a doctoral student and fellowship recipient in Educational Policy and Evaluation at Arizona State University, Julie is committed to co-creating brave, inclusive spaces and cultures of peace through leadership and collective action.

Image of Lisa Krupp

Lisa Krupp is a Montessori Educator with a passion for peace and a determination to make the world a more peaceful place. Embracing the philosophy that peace education is essential and that it begins with children, she connects with schools to share our Five Peace Actions. She also engages globally with World Citizen Peace Ambassadors, sharing their inspiring personal stories of peace actions that create a positive ripple effect. Lisa serves as the Board Chair.

Sabine Roden serves as the Secretary for World Citizen. She has an M.Ed with over 20 years in training and instructional design. Sabine has spent the last 5 years as a life coach focused on helping people create new internal patterns to live a fuller, happier life. She especially enjoys serving leaders and individuals desiring to better the world. Sabine loves to travel, explore new foods, speak French and create inspirational videos. She’s excited to join the Board and give rise to more peace in the world.

Mary Salvatori Allen has been an educator for over 30 years, most recently as the recycling and education director for an agency in Illinois. In this role, Mary developed, instituted, and promoted programs and resource materials that focused on sustainable materials management and engaged with a diverse audience of students, citizens, and elected officials. Upon retirement in 2023, she accepted a position as the administration coordinator for a state association. She has served as a Peace Ambassador for three years and is honored to be on the Board of Directors for the World Citizen Peace Ambassador Center.

About Our Advisors

World Citizen Advisors bring deep expertise in stewardship and strategic consulting to help us lead responsibly in this complex, interconnected world.

Moses Abolade is a Nigerian peacebuilding practitioner, educator, and organisational leader with over eight years of experience advancing peace education, youth leadership, and conflict transformation across Nigeria and beyond. He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Peace Education and Practice Network (PEPNET), where he has led nationally and regionally recognised initiatives in peace education and media, civic engagement, and community development. Moses has engaged with regional and international platforms, including the United Nations system, the Community of Democracies, and African Union youth initiatives. He currently serves as a Peacebuilding Consultant with international organisations, supporting programme design, strategic partnerships, and learning processes for sustainable peace.

Lee Vue
Lee Vue is a Hmong American communications strategist, nonprofit leader, and outdoor educator committed to advancing peace through belonging, equity, and cross-cultural understanding. As the daughter of immigrants, she believes lasting peace begins when people feel seen, valued, and connected. Her work spans youth leadership, civic engagement, racial equity, and environmental stewardship. Through community leadership, storytelling, and relationship building, she strives to help create a more just, compassionate, and peaceful world. LinkedIn

Finance Committee Advisors supports the World Citizen Peace Ambassador Center in stewarding financial resources, ensuring transparency to the Board, and upholding accountability to our mission.

Rena Rampersad is an ACCA-qualified finance professional with extensive experience supporting nonprofit and mission-driven organizations through strong financial governance and strategic oversight. She brings expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance, with a focus on transparency and accountability. Rena has worked across multiple financial systems, including Dynamics, Sage, QuickBooks, and Accufund. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting at Florida Atlantic University. As a member of the Finance Committee for the World Citizen Peace Ambassador Center, Rena is committed to responsible stewardship of resources and aligning financial practices with the organization’s global peace and humanitarian mission.

Adeniyi Olanrewaju Akanji is a seasoned finance executive and board-level advisor with over 15 years of experience driving financial strategy, governance, and risk management across NGOs, investment advisory, fintech, energy, and healthcare sectors. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and a Certified Management Consultant (FIMC-CMC), he brings deep expertise in IFRS reporting, funding strategies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Adeniyi currently serves as CFO to multiple organizations and is passionate about leveraging strong financial systems to advance peacebuilding, gender inclusion, and sustainable development. Strategic, values-driven, and impact-focused, he supports missions that create lasting global change.
